What is a group?

Group travel is defined as when 10 or more people are all traveling together and are going from Point A-to-Point B. They are also all booked for the same reservation. What makes group traveling really nice is the fact that the airlines will give those 10 or more travelers a discount on their airfare.

Should you do solo travel VS group travel (Pros & Cons)

There are lots of decisions to make when it comes to travel.

Indeed, from questions of choosing your destination and duration, to budget, baggage and beyond, travel can sometimes feel like one never ending process of decision making.

The decision to travel solo or in a group can be one that’s particularly tough, especially for a first time traveler.

People are different, so personal preferences and experiences of either choice will vary accordingly.

It’s about what’s going to be right for you.

However, a decision made in the full knowledge of its potential implications is always preferable.

So, for an aspiring traveler as yet undecided about travelling solo or in a group, it might be helpful to have an idea of the pros and cons to expect from both!

So, let’s look at both in turn.

Solo Travel vs. Group Travel

Group Travel will allow you to gain new perspectives, whether that’s through the trip itself or your interactions with other travelers. Like any form of travel, group trips allow you to expand your views and outlooks.  Through a group trip, you’ll get to see parts of the world that you’ve never seen before or interact with people that you normally wouldn’t meet.

Whether you're coordinating a family reunion, Affinity groups - Church groups, dance groups, fitness groups, collectors groups.  Sports clubs -  Golf clubs, football fans, bowling leagues . . .  Professional organizations - Corporate, Business leaders groups, Women professional associations -- Community and non-profit groups  -  volunteer organizations, . . . . the possibilities are endless.

Group travel trips/tours can help structure and simplify your vacation.
